Roy Becket (ロイ・ベケット) is the main protagonist of Astebreed.

Roy Becket is a live-in cleaner at G.O. Corp., and is estimated to be around 19 years of age. However, as he lacks official Documentation, his actual age is unknown. Roy has a cheerful Spirit; he doesn't take things seriously or worry about the details. He has a burn scar across the left side of his body. Roy is on good terms with G.O.'s members and regards Grato Nono, Oliga Shestakov, and Hugo Himmel as family. Grato rescued Roy from a life of crime and poverty that first began when Roy was a young refugee. It's because of this that Roy admires and looks up to Grato, devoting most of his free time and energy to Raid Eurver training. Thanks to his unique background, Roy already possesses select ace pilot abilities, and is already a match for Grato in close-quarters Blade combat, despite his youth. However, due to his limited experience, Roy is forced to remain at base during the initial attack on theMobile Planet and then hear of it's failure. After Fio and the S.D.F. rise to action, Roy is called upon to pilot Xbreed.
