Battle of All Time Wiki:Home

Welcome to the Battle of All Time Wiki!

  • You don't need to use the "Explore" tab at the top because everything is under the "Navigate the Wiki" page, which I prefer because everything is together.
  • As the words "zey", "zem" and "zeir" are the commonly used pronouns referring to people in the object world, and people from the human world, who have gender, are still referred to with these pronouns by object people, the best way to avoid disambiguation on which pronoun to use (especially for people who exist in both the object world and the human world) is to always use these pronouns in articles.
  • Please do not have page clutter (For example, unnecessary templates or pages that only serve to list things that already have pages) except for community-use pages like user templates, user pages, blog posts, etc.

Rules

  • Use common sense. No hate speech, discrimination, harassment, curse words, etc.
  • Anything linked to from the wiki will be judged as if it were part of the wiki. For example, posting a link to a page with inappropriate content is not allowed even though the content isn't on the wiki itself.
  • Assume good faith. That's a common phrase on wikis and Wikipedia that means you should never assume someone is editing maliciously, because they may not understand what they're doing or may not have realized what they put was incorrect.

Template Guide

If you don't know how templates work, see Help:Templates.

  • Template:= lets you type the equals sign in a parser function, when usually the equals sign would be interpreted as formatting for the parser function.
  • Template:Space is a space, but it works even if it's in an area that strips whitespace.
  • Template:Tocright makes the table of contents appear to the right, like on this page where you can see it's on the right and therefore doesn't create a break in the text.
  • Template:Trim removes whitespace from the beginning and end of the text you put inside it.
  • Template:MessageBox is used for making notice templates. It's easiest to learn how it works by looking at the source code for a notice template.

Notice Templates

These are notice boxes to put on a page to indicate one of these things:

  • Template:Delete indicates that somebody has suggested deleting the page. It has the parameter "reason" which is text telling the reader why people say it should be deleted.
  • Template:Open Voting indicates that the voting for this episode is still going.

Template:Clear

If there's an image (or something else) that extends below text, all content after this template will move below it. For example, here the text after the template is moved down past the image:

1

2

3 ["{{Clear}}"is after this bracketed text]

4

5

Template:Cols

Separates content into columns, evenly separating it so each column is the same length. The parameters go {{Cols|number of columns|Text}}. For example, here is Lorem Ipsum split into three columns:
