Sypnosis

Children of the Red King

Ten-year-old Charlie Bone's world is turned upside down when he suddenly gains the power to hear people in photographs and paintings, marking him as one of the endowed, descendants of the Red King and inheritors of portions of his power. Charlie is forced to leave his normal school and transfer to Bloor's Academy, a school for children with artistic or magical talents, where he makes friends, finds enemies, and secrets are revealed which cut to the heart of his family and shadow the city's future. Together, Charlie and the other good endowed must join forces to fight the evil which grows around them. What secrets lurk in the corners of the academy, who will prevail in the end, and what really happened to Charlie's father?

Chronicles of the Red King

Born to the king and queen of a secret kingdom and bestowed with magical gifts by a forest jinni, Timoken's early childhood is happy as well as unusual. Tragedy strikes when their peaceful land is attacked, leaving him and his sister, Zobayda, orphans. Together, with their magical gifts and a talking camel, they set off to find a new kingdom to call home. Their quest will turn Timoken into the Red King, and his powers and legacy will echo down through his descendants as they take part in the never-ending struggle of good versus evil which tears his family apart.

Henry and the Guardians of the Lost

Henry Yewbeam has a secret: he is twelve, but he hasn’t aged a day since the moment he was thrust a hundred years into the future. Less than 10 minutes after the arrival of a mysterious letter, Henry finds himself on the run with his Auntie Pearl, possibly never to return home. Now his secret has put him in danger. His only hope is the protection of the Guardians of the Lost.

Gabriel and the Phantom Sleepers

Gabriel Silk’s family are the keepers of a magical cloak, handed down the generations. When Gabriel's father is called away, responsibility for the cloak falls to Gabriel. Gabriel must journey to his uncle's house, but someone else is on the trail of the cloak, and Gabriel's nightmare comes true - the cloak disappears. With the help of his cousin Sadie, and an assortment of unexpected friends along the way, Gabriel sets out to find the cloak. But they are heading towards great danger ... and the Phantom Sleepers aren't far behind. Will Gabriel be able to use his magical powers to save himself and his family?
