Le Chevalier D'Eon anime TV series about the titular character, who is loosely based on the historical figure Chevalier d'Eon. He lived in the middle of 18th century, pre-Revolutionary France under the reign of Louis XV. The series contains many characters and events based on historical facts but certain liberties were taken. Rather than viewing this series as an recreated shadow history it is more similar to an Alternate History.
