Chipspeech is a 'vintage-style' voice synthesizer program made to emulate vintage speech synthesis chips, available as a stand-alone program and as a VST plugin developed by Plogue with character design by Pixoshiru. Featuring twelve voices in total, all of the voices sing in English and Japanese, but the X-Sampa feature allows the Chips to sing in virtually any language."Resurrecting some of the most iconic voice synthesizers from yesterday's tomorrow" -Crusher-P, voice provider of Daisy
Each of the twelve characters feature individual designs and personalities. The story behind all of the characters are heavily rooted in science fiction and cyberpunk, portraying a diverse cast of characters while paying homage to the technologies they're based on. Each character has their own official Twitter account where they share thoughts and interact with one another alongside followers.
