Welcome to the Wiki!
Dear America Wiki is an online encyclopedia about the historical fiction series, Dear America, its spin-offs, My Name Is America, My America, and The Royal Diaries, and the international series it inspired, My Story, My Australian Story, My New Zealand Story, Dear Canada, I Am Canada, Mon Histoire, and more. The wiki is working towards creating concise and informative articles on the books and characters. This format allows anyone to create or edit articles, so we can all work to make a comprehensive database. The books of Dear America and its spin-offs are mostly told through a diary format, taking readers back in time to see through the eyes of young people all around the world. Topics covered in the American series' range from the Jamestown settlement to the California Gold Rush to the sinking of the RMS Titanic to the Vietnam War. International series like My Story, Dear Canada, and My Australian Story deal with topics related to their respective countries. The Royal Diaries, while sharing the same format of Dear America, instead tells fictionalized portrayals of real-life people like Cleopatra and Elizabeth. |
