Discotek Media has licensed the first five Dr. Slump Arale-chan films and released them as an English subtitled DVD set on July 29th, 2014. The films Dr. Slump Arale-chan: Hello! Wonder Island, Dr. Slump: Hoyoyo! Space Adventure, Dr. Slump Arale-chan: Hoyoyo, The Great Race Around the World, Dr. Slump Arale-chan: Hoyoyo! The Treasure of Nanaba Castle and Dr. Slump Arale-chan: Hoyoyo! The City of Dreams, Mechapolis are included on this two disc set. This is the first time any animated Dr. Slump feature (not counting Dragon Ball) has been released to North America.

TubiTV has announced that the Dr. Slump anime series will be added to their streaming service with English subtitles.

Saikyo Jump debuted a new series by Kazuhiko Torishima and Yuuji Kasai called "Dr Mashirito’s Mightiest Manga Techniques" which will provide advice for aspiring Mangaka and tales about Torishima's career as a manga editor. The series stars an aged Dr. Mashirito.
