"Hello everyone, and welcome to a new year here at Hogwarts! I would also like to give a very special warm welcome to all the first years who are starting a new journey here on this very day. To those who are returning students, may you continue to strive for greatness and push yourself further in academics and extra curricular activities at our amazing academy! Many new clubs are being organized and of course our annual Hogwarts Quidditch Cup is once again up for grabs. And as many of you may know, there will be a Founder's Tournament this year as well! Very exciting, so with all that being said this will hopefully shape up to be quite the memorable and exciting year for everyone involved!" Silas said with a pause, looking out at all the students and staff alike. "And with that, may the opening feast commence!" With a brave smile, Silas raised his goblet to form a large cheers before lowering it to his lips.

"Welcome to an exciting new and fresh year at Hogwarts. I hope that you all try to do your best, at whatever standard that may be. This school has a lot to offer but I must gently try to remind you that receiving high grades, whilst important, is not everything this school has too offer. You can always try again and again. Remember, your own success is subjective and might not be the same to the person next to you so don't try to compare yourself and hold yourself to someone else's standards. Do try and take advantage of everything Hogwart's has to offer, within reason. Also, might I warn you to do your best to try and stay safe. The world isn't a friendly place and whilst we try our best to keep it out of our walls, sometimes it seeps in right under our noses. So please, for your own sake, don't go looking for trouble."
