Hayden Silas Anhedönia, professionally known as Ethel Cain, is an American singer-songwriter, born in Tallahassee, Florida and living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
After experimenting and releasing many projects under different alias, Hayden started using the Ethel Cain moniker in 2019, releasing many EPs prior to her debut album, Preacher's Daughter, which would rise the singer into popularity with it's dark themes of intergenerational trauma, domestic violence, substance abuse, and poverty, themes generally present in Hayden's body of works.
