Cassandra was the crown princess, and later Queen Regent, of Araluen. She was the daughter of King Duncan and Queen Rosalind and the only heir to the throne of Araluen. She was married to Horace Altman.

During the Second Araluen Civil War, she went by the alias Evanlyn to protect herself from Morgarath and his army of Wargals, and was known by both this name and her birth name. His father would also occasionally call her Cassie or Cass. (Read more…)

In September 2020, Flanagan stated in a polish interview that filming was still planned, and was going to be shot in Victoria once that pandemic was over. However, he added that the plans had changed--the producers didn't think cinema was going to recover quickly, and so decided to instead film a streamed series, which would cover the first two books.
The Missing Prince, the fourth book in The Royal Ranger series, has released!
Production for the Ranger's Apprentice film was confirmed to begin in July 2020!
