Friday Night Dinner is a British sitcom that follows the lives of the Goodmans, a middle-class Jewish family living in North London. They get together every Friday night to have dinner, which always leads to chaos. The Goodman family consists of Martin (Paul Ritter) and Jackie (Tamsin Greig), the parents, and their two adult sons, Adam (Simon Bird) and Jonny (Tom Rosenthal). Not to mention their bizarre and besotted neighbour, Jim (Mark Heap) and his dog, who always seems to show up at the worst possible times.

Jacqueline "Jackie" Goodman is a grown-up lady with a teenage sense of humour, she's funny, fiery and occasionally a bit saucy. She's always the first to enthuse about something, and always the first to get annoyed.
Jackie loves Masterchef, men with nice bums and having a natter with her best friend, Val (who has the same hair) - but most of all she loves her family.
