This wiki is about Gal*Gun, a series of rail shooter games by Inti Creates. In Gal*Gun and Gal*Gun: Double Peace, you play as Tenzou Motesugi and Houdai Kudoki respectively, students accidentally inflicted with way too much popularity by an Angel trying to pass their academy's graduation exam. Find your true love before sundown, or you're single for life!

Gal*Gun 2 stars a nameless student, chosen by lottery to be partnered with Angel Ring employee Risu and be a Demon Hunter. Sakurazaki Academy has been suffering from frequent demonic possessions as of late, and together, you and your new partner must solve this problem. Oh, and you're way too popular until you can fulfill your duties.

The wiki also covers Gal Guardians: Demon Purge, a 2D Action game spinoff within Gal*Gun's universe starring Shinobu and Maya Kamizono, and features characters from previous Gal*Gun titles all together for the first time. The school has been transformed into a demonic castle, and it's up to the Demon Hunter duo to get to the bottom of this incident.

• September 25th, 2024 - Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark, a Metroidvania sequel to Gal Guardians: Demon Purge, has been announced for development
• May 20th, 2024 - Gal*Gun is revealed to be among the game worlds present in Card-en-Ciel, a card-battling RPG by Inti Creates.
• March 23rd, 2023 - Grim Guardians: Demon Purge physical edition launches in Japan.
• March 8th, 2023 - Grim Guardians: Demon Purge name changed to Gal Guardians: Demon Purge for western releases of the game due to copyright conflict involving "GRIMGUARD"
• February 23rd, 2023 - Grim Guardians: Demon Purge digital launch day, available on Nintendo Switch, Steam, Playstation 4/5, and Xbox.
• February 6th, 2023 - English dub trailer for Grim Guardians: Demon Purge officially released. A Steam demo of the game will also be available until the 13th.
• January 31st, 2023 - English physical release announced by PQube. Standard editions release Spring 2023, limited editions release Summer 2023.
• January 25th, 2023 - First "Grim Guideians: Demon Channel" stream on Inti Create's Youtube and NicoNico channel. In addition to demonstrating gameplay, the presentation also revealed the game's OP, "Never x Never x Never".
• December 21st, 2022 - Grim Guardians: Demon Purge Release Date trailer revealed. Worldwide release date of February 23rd, 2023 confirmed for digital versions, Japanese physical versions release for PS5 and Nintendo Switch on March 23rd, 2023. Digital price confirmed to be $25 USD.
• October 22nd, 2022 - Steam page for Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is now public, release date remains TBD
• September 15th-18th, 2022 - Grim Guardians: Demon Purge demo featured at Tokyo Game Show. Previously unseen stage included.
