Elemental Monuments, sometimes colloquially referred to as Elemental Totems, are small totems that are activated upon striking them with the element indicated on them. This includes Talents and Elemental Reactions.
Some elemental monuments are permanently lit up upon activating them once, while others are only temporarily activated and will deactivate after a certain amount of time.
Oftentimes, elemental monuments are used to reveal hidden chests or unlock domains.
Broken Elemental Monuments
Broken elemental monuments can be found in Sumeru. Using the "Kusava" or Vintage Lyre gadgets allows the player to repair them.
If repaired but not activated, they will eventually return to their previous broken state.
