The Battle of Genesis was a conflict between scattered elements of the United Nations Space Command (UNSC), the remnant pieces of Jul 'Mdama's Covenant, and the nearly complete forces of the Created.

Blue Team

After boarding the Guardian at Meridian, Blue Team arrived at Genesis.[2]

Arrival of Fireteam Osiris

On October 28, 2558 the Sunaion Guardian finally brought Fireteam Osiris to Genesis. Unlike Blue Team however, Fireteam Osiris was required to run down the front of their Guardian in order to reach the planet. Along the way, they combated its compliment of Promethean Crawlers and Promethean Soldiers.[1]

On the surface, Osiris met Genesis' original Monitor 031 Exuberant Witness and attempted to reach Blue Team.[1]

Aftermath

With the Guardians released, the Created had begun The Reclamation. This attack devastated the Unified Earth Government (UEG), destroying the electrical systems of many worlds.[3]

John-117 and Jameson Locke would eventually return to Sanghelios.[3]
