Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun (地縛少年花子くん,Jibaku Shōnen Hanako-kun?) is an ongoing manga by AidaIro which has been serializing in the G-Fantasy magazine since 2014, with twenty-two volumes currently in print. Yen Press has been licensed to release the manga translated in English both in digital and print book forms.
An anime adaptation of the manga by Lerche began airing in the Winter 2020 anime season on January 9th, later ending on March 26th of the same year after a 12-episode run. 4 Years later, a Season 2 of the anime is confirmed for the Winter 2025 anime season.
Shijima Mei (シジマメイ,Shijima Mei?) is a supernatural at Kamome Academy and the current School Mystery Number 4. She was created in the likeness of a former student at the Kamome Academy, Shijima Mei (四島メイ,Shijima Mei?).
For clarity, this article refers to the School Mystery Number 4 as "Shijima" and the past Kamome Academy student as "Mei"....
