Like its predecessor, Hand of Fate 2 is a cross between a card game, a board game, an RPG, a dungeon crawler, and a Choose Your Own Adventure story, with 3D combat.

The player is pitted against the Dealer. Both parties create their own decks of cards. These cards will form the spaces of a board the player must move across, collecting loot and equipment along the way. Each card will also provide its own story, its own choices, rewards (or punishments), games of chance, and can also unlock even more cards.

Features

  • A world transformed - 100 years have passed since the Dealer was usurped and the Game of Life and Death gained a new master.
  • 22 exciting new challenges that will push your deck-building skills to the limit - Hunt fiendish assassins, reunite star-crossed lovers or build up a fortress to withstand a raider assault!
  • Enlist the aid of all new companion characters - team up with them in battle, or have them bend the rules of the boardgame in your favor!
  • Hundreds of new encounters, artifacts and items to earn and upgrade.
  • Enhanced action-RPG combat - shred foes with quick dual-wielded daggers or brutalize them with heavy two-handed hammers. Build up your combo meter to unleash powerful special attacks!
  • Engage new foes united by all-new card suits - Cross swords with disciplined Imperial soldiers, purge corrupted mutants and fend off northern raiders.
  • A new Endless mode that allows the player to keep going until they die
  • A DLC with new a new challenge and companion.

Help build the wiki!

Hand of Fate 2 can be very complicated, and that's why the wiki needs your help. Just as the player's deck is made of many cards, so too is a wiki made of many articles, and articles made of lots of pieces of information. Help us build the wiki by creating new articles or expanding existing ones. For guidelines on how to do this, please consult the wiki's Manual of Style.

You don't need to have all the information right off the bat, or even a ton of information to start. Just do you best to fill in what blanks you can, and come back when you can fill in even more. A wiki can only really be built if the fans pitch in.

Master a living board game where every stage of the adventure is drawn from a deck of legendary encounters chosen by you! Choose wisely - your opponent, the enigmatic Dealer, will pull no punches as he shapes you into the instrument of his revenge.
