July 4, 2024 - Kawamura Ayano to graduate from ANGERME and Hello! Project
On July 4, it was announced that Kawamura Ayano will be graduating from ANGERME and Hello! Project, following the group's upcoming autumn concert tour.
After Kawamura told to the staff that she wanted to end her entertainment career, they considered it carefully and came to the decision that she would be graduating at the final concert of the upcoming concert tour scheduled for autumn 2024.
Upon her graduation, Kawamura will retire from the entertainment industry. Details regarding her graduation schedule will be announced as soon as decided.
At the concert, Yamazaki performed a cover of ℃-ute's song "Ai wa Maru de Seidenki" as her graduation song, which was released digitally the day after the concert. This concert also served as BEYOOOOONDS' first graduation ceremony, as former member Ichioka Reina had left the group and Hello! Project back in March 2024 without a graduation ceremony.
After her graduation, Yamazaki plans on working in a new environment, learn more about music and try singing in various genres, as well expanding her potential and start working toward new goals. A few days later, on July 1, she left UP-FRONT PROMOTION.
Sasaki initially joined Hello! Project on March 1, 2013 as the sole 18th generation member of Hello Pro Kenshuusei, and was introduced at the Hello Pro Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2013 ~3gatsu no Nama Tamago Show!~ event on March 31. On October 4, 2014, it was announced that Sasaki was selected to join S/mileage as a 3rd generation member alongside fellow Hello Pro Kenshuusei members Murota Mizuki and Aikawa Maho. With 2nd generation member Takeuchi Akari's graduation in June of 2023, Sasaki became the last remaining member to have joined S/mileage before their name change to ANGERME, although her debut single as a member was released under ANGERME.
At her graduation concert, she performed a rearranged "Himawari Version" of the song "Kimi Dake ja nai sa... friends", which is a cover of the original song by ANGERME. This version was released digitally the same day.
Sasaki now plans to challenge herself by seeing how far she can go on her own.
The group name Rosy Chronicle (ロージークロニクル) comes from the words "Rosy" (ロージー) and "Chronicle" (クロニクル). "Rosy" means "rosy", "full of hope" and "full of happiness", and "Chronicle" means "chronicle", a history book that chronicles events year by year. Therefore, the combined name of Rosy Chronicle is derived from the hope that the history of Rosy Chronicle will be passed down from generation to generation.
