Jay Cartwright
Jay Cartwright is the tritagonist of The Inbetweeners. Throughout the series, he attends sixth form at Rudge Park Comprehensive in the United Kingdom as a student, and later finishes his education there near the beginning of The Inbetweeners Movie. He appears in every episode and film, and is widely known as a character, appearing in lots of promotional marketing for the show.
Jay is portrayed by actor James Buckley and his role as Jay is what mainly sparked his popularity as an actor due to the show being generally successful successful across the United Kingdom. As well as this, his role as Jay led him to win several awards.
