LOVEJOY SHARES TEASER FOR DEBUT ALBUM, 'WON'T HAVE TO WAIT MUCH LONGER"!

The Lovejoy fan community got quite the thrill this past Thursday, May 22! The boys dropped a surprise teaser trailer for their as-yet-untitled debut album (also embedded below and viewable on Instagram). Bassist Ash Kabosu provided a few more details via his Instagram Stories (also below), divulging "been locked in, working on a debut album for quite some time now. very excited for you all to hear what we've made. thank you for your patience, you won't have to wait much longer."

LOVEJOY IS HEADLINING AT SUMMERFEST 2025!

Lovejoy is headlining the Miller Lite Oasis Stage at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA on July 3. This is the only 2025 show that Lovejoy has announced so far, so don't miss out! Tickets are available at the Summerfest website.

Lovejoy is a British indie rock band based in Brighton, England. Vocalist Will Gold and guitarist Joe Goldsmith, previously members of the same folk punk band, assembled Lovejoy during the early days of the 2021 UK Covid lockdown. Lovejoy's first EP, Are You Alright?, and the music video for their song One Day, debuted on May 10, 2021. The band consists of Will Gold (lead vocals, rhythm guitar}, Joe Goldsmith (lead guitar, backing vocals), Ash Kabosu (bass), and Mark Boardman (drums).

Lovejoy Made a Movie?!

Lovejoy has released a two-part movie! On April 29, 2025, Lovejoy dropped a terrific surprise on their LOVEJOYetc YouTube channel - part one of a movie detailing their adventures in Japan. The description reads: "Lovejoy’s Right Way Up Tour, part one of two. The band visit Osaka & Tokyo, where they performed at Summer Sonic." The band uploaded the second half of the movie, which chronicles their touring in Thailand and Australia, on May 13, 2025. This movie is a must-watch for any Lovejoy fan (or anyone looking for some funny, light-hearted entertainment)!

Lovejoy Announces Another Summer 2025 Show

Lovejoy is playing the Rock For People festival in Park 360, Hradec Králové, Czech Republic! Single day tickets are sold out, but there are still a limited number of multi-day passes left - buy tickets here! Other notable acts scheduled to play on the same day are Linkin Park, Swim School, and English Teacher.

A new concert date has been announced! Lovejoy is a headliner at Milwaukee, Wisconsin's Summerfest music festival! Summerfest is one of America's largest music festivals, taking place over three consecutive weekends in June and July. On May 27, 2023, Lovejoy played their largest venue to date, selling out the 2500-person capacity Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel writer Piet Levy reviewed the evening, saying "Lovejoy is going to be huge. The band's biggest concert yet in Milwaukee made no doubt about it.".
