  • September 14, 2023: A new course for Wave 6 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is revealed, the returning Daisy Circuit along with a whooping four brand new characters: Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline, and Peachette!
  • September 11, 2023: Nintendo announces Mario Kart Tour is coming to an end on October 4.
  • July 11, 2023: Wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is released with 7 New Retro Courses and 1 Brand New Course for the all-new Feather Cup and Cherry Cup. A new update is also released adding Petey Piranha, Wiggler, and Kamek as new characters to the game!
  • July 6, 2023: The remaining 7 new courses for Wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass are shown.
  • June 21, 2023: A new course for Wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is shown, the brand new Squeaky Clean Sprint along with three brand new characters: Petey Piranha, Wiggler, and Kamek!
  • March 9, 2023: Wave 4 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is released with 7 New Retro Courses and 1 Brand New Course for the all-new Fruit Cup and Boomerang Cup. A new update is also released adding Birdo (along with 8 additional Birdo colors) as a new character to the game!
  • March 2, 2023: The remaining 7 new courses for Wave 4 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass are announced.
  • February 8, 2023: A new course for Wave 4 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is announced, the brand new Yoshi's Island along with a brand new character: Birdo!
  • December 14, 2022: In a surprising turn of events, version 1.2 for Mario Kart 7 is released, the first update for the game in 10 Years.
  • December 7, 2022: Wave 3 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is released with 8 New Retro Courses for the all-new Rock Cup and Moon Cup. A new update for the game is also released allowing players to customize which Items appear during a VS Race or Battle.
  • November 21, 2022: New courses for Wave 3 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass are announced.
  • August 4, 2022: Wave 2 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is released with 8 New Retro Courses for the all-new Turnip Cup and Propellor Cup.
