Nanbaka 「ナンバカ」 is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shou Futamata and has collected 8 volumes thus far, and previously updated weekly on Saturday. A 25-episode anime television series adaptation premiered in the Fall season on October 5, 2016.
Shou Futamata began serializing the manga on NHN PlayArt's Comico manga app on October 13, 2013. The series was published in print by Futabasha. Crunchyroll Manga acquired the series for digital publication in English, however their license has run out.
The web manga ended on June 25, 2022 with 423 chapters. Similarly, Nanbaka has been taken off of Comico. Nanbaka is currently self published by Futamata on her Pixiv Fanbox alongside additional illustrations of the characters. Nanbaka can also be found on publishing sites such as Cmoa Comics.

In stark contrast to Jyugo's eternal captivity, Zakuro spent most of his life in the real world, constantly running from people attacking and pursuing him for reasons he couldn't understand. This constant need to run meant that he had little time to get to know himself and enjoy things, resulting in him not having many preferences. Upon deciding to stay in Nanba Prison, he starts looking inwards, learning more about himself and connecting with other people.
