SERIES
The Penumbra series is a collection of three games developed by Frictional Games, comprised of two games and an optional expansion pack that continues where the last game left off.
Centered around a mystery hidden in the uninhabited frozen wastes of Northern Greenland, English Professor of Physics Philip Buchanon travels to the location his father was last alive, provoked by a message from his late father days after his mother's funeral, and in doing so finds out what his father had been working on that caused him to leave his son before birth and ultimately led to his demise.
