Rebel Moon is a new multimedia franchise from director Zack Snyder that launched with the first movie, A Child of Fire, on December 22, 2023, exclusively on Netflix. It has since been followed by a multitude of additional stories across movies, series, games, and comic books, with more still to come.
Chalice of Blood and Curse of Forgiveness continue on from the original PG-13 movies as extended, R-rated directors cuts of A Child of Fire and The Scargiver, respectively. Each movie adds about an hour to the runtime of its PG-13 counterpart, with a range of additional differences throughout the films. Join Kora (Sofia Boutella) once more as she and Gunnar (Michiel Huisman) gather Kai (Charlie Hunnam), Prince Tarak (Staz Nair), cyborg warrior Nemesis (Doona Bae), ex-general for the Imperium Titus (Djimon Hounsou), sentient machine JC-1435 (Anthony Hopkins), and fellow rebels Darrian Bloodaxe (Ray Fisher) , Devra Bloodaxe (Cleopatra Coleman), and Milius (Elise Duffy) to fight Admiral Atticus Noble (Ed Skrein)'s forces and defend Veldt from the might of The King's Gaze.
