"Blurrg" is the third episode of the webseries Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures. It follows the Safari droid SF-R3 as he interacts with a herd of blurrg on the forest moon of Endor. The episode was released on StarWarsKids.com on October 21, 2021,[1] the same day as the series' fourth episode, "Voorpak."[4]
Official description
Aree has to learn how to wrangle some rowdy blurrgs back into their pen, before the local Ewoks find out!
Plot summary
On the Forest Moon of Endor, SF-R3 ("Aree") and CAM crash their 74-Z speeder bike while approaching a herd of blurrgs. After tending to CAM's damaged visual receptor, Aree explains that he has been sent on a mission by the Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts to herd blurrgs before the local Ewoks find out that someone has set them free.
Riding his speeder bike, Aree attempts to lasso a blurrg but ends up tied up around a tree. Aree later tries to use signaling lights to herd them into a pen but they run past him. During the third attempt, Aree runs circles around them with his speeder bike. However, the bike breaks down and he lends in the middle of the herd. Aree discovers that he can herd them by whistling a tune. Aree leads them into a pen but the blurrgs follow him as he whistles on his way out. Aree lists several fun facts including that male blurrgs are eaten by female blurrgs after mating.

Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures — "Porgs" features porgs on Batuu, a species that Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge establishes were not present on the planet Batuu until the Resistance brought them there between the events of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Therefore, porgs must have been introduced to Batuu between those stories, which corresponds to 34 ABY per this reasoning, meaning that the events of Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures take place during or after 34 ABY.
