An outpost was located on the jungle planet Devaron during the Clone Wars. It existed in conjunction with the Temple of Eedit, a Jedi temple that served as a separate Republic outpost.

History

During the Clone Wars, bounty hunter Cad Bane besieged the Galactic Republic outpost on Devaron with an attack force from the Trade Federation. Bane captured Jedi General Bolla Ropal, as well as the Kyber memory crystal that Ropal held in his possession.[1]

Behind the scenes

Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Republic outpost briefly seen in "Cargo of Doom" and the Temple of Eedit from "Monster" were confirmed to be the same facility. Both locations were derived from the same production artwork, entitled "Devaron Jedi outpost."[3] However, in official canon, the StarWars.com Databank's entry on Devaron indicated that the two locations were separate.[4]
