Farrann was a commentator on Gundark's Gear Datalog during the early years of the New Republic. Commenting on the entry for the QuickMed med-aid, Farrann noted that despite their age, the kits were common in the Outer Rim Territories. Farrann warned that some of the contents, such as pain killers and anti-venom, were hundreds of years out of date and were probably either ineffective or possibly toxic.[1]
