Gahg

Gahg was an individual who became the first Finance Minister of the Galactic Empire[1] in 19 BBY shortly after its creation at the end of the Clone Wars.[2] One of his first tasks[1] was to oversee the annexation of former Confederacy of Independent Systems holdings which had been seized at the end of the Clone Wars. During a meeting with Galactic Emperor Palpatine, his aide Mas Amedda provided a status report from Gahg, stating that the annexation was nearly complete.[2]

Behind the scenes

Gahg was first mentioned in the comic book series Star Wars: Dark Times in the first issue of the The Path to Nowhere story arc published on November 8, 2006 and written by Randy Stradley under the name Mike Harrison.[2] He later received an entry in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, which was published on December 9, 2008.[1]
