Herkin was a Commander of the Galactic Empire stationed with a unit of stormtroopers in the city of Mos Shuuta on Tatooine. Herkin had illegal connections with Teemo the Hutt and along with a group of Teemo's Gamorrean thugs chased a group of adventurers into Landing Bay Aurek, where the adventurers stole the Krayt Fang, a ship belonging to Trex, one of Teemo's employees.
