John Cygan (1954 – May 13, 2017)^[1] was an American actor, voice artist who had done the voice of Dash Rendar in Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance and Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds as well as Rand Talor in that game.^[2] Cygan had also provided the voice of Luke Skywalker, Wedge Antilles, and Darth Vader in the Dark Empire, Dark Empire II and Empire's End audio dramatizations;^[3] Canderous Ordo/Mandalore the Preserver in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords; and Ulic Qel-Droma in the Dark Lords of the Sith audio dramatization.^[4] Outside of Star Wars projects, Cygan was also well known for providing the voice of Solidus Snake in Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.^[1]
