Knowt's Disease was a degenerative affliction that destroyed body tissue. Pter Thanas died of it less than five years after being diagnosed.^[1] The wealthy Coruscanti businessman, Archa Sabis was afflicted with a non-lethal form of the disease. His right arm and part of his face and torso were affected by the disease and replaced by cybernetic prostheses.^[2]
