Legacy (2006) 48

Legacy 48: Extremes, Part 1 is the forty-eighth issue of the Legends comic book series Star Wars: Legacy. It was written by John Ostrander, illustrated by Jan Duursema, and published on May 26, 2010 by Dark Horse Comics.

Publisher's summary

True to his vow, Cade Skywalker is making war on the Sith, determined to be a one-Jedi army of vengeance. But no man can be everywhere at once, and when Princess Marasiah Fel is captured and taken to the Sith stronghold on Korriban, Cade is not the only one to take action.

The galaxy is teetering on the brink of all-out war, and this might just be the issue that tips it over the edge!

Plot summary

LEGACY
EXTREMES PART ONE 
A rescue effort by the combined forces of deposed Emperor
Roan Fel and the Galactic Alliance managed to save but a
fraction of the population of the planet Dac before the toxins
created by Sith scientist Vul Isen wiped out every life form
there.

Meanwhile, the Sith also moved against Emperor Fel and his
Imperial Knights as they met with representatives of the Jedi
Council to forge a treaty. At the same time, Darth Maladi
attempted to sway Cade Skywalker to the dark side by poi-
soning the love of his life, Deliah Blue. Both attacks ended in
setbacks for the Sith.

But a greater calamity faces the Sith Order: their emperor,
Darth Krayt, who was supposedly healing in a stasis chamber,
has disappeared…

Continuity

The front matter of Legacy 48 states that the story is set approximately 137 years after the Battle of Yavin, during the Legacy era. The trade paperback Star Wars: Legacy Volume 10: Extremes later specified the story to be set in 138 ABY.[2]
