The Liberation of Syruss was a battle of the Galactic Civil War that took place in the Syruss system.
The battle
The Rebel Alliance launched a strike force against an Imperial station in order to liberate the system. The Rebel strike force consisted of one Y-wing and two X-wings. In reaction, the Empire scrambled all of its available fighters, four TIE fighters and two TIE bombers, to counter the attack. The two snubfighter groups then engaged in a dogfight.[1]
