Repairs

"Repairs" is a comic story written by Rik Hoskin featured in the fifth issue of Star Wars Comic UK magazine, released May 2014. The story includes the characters Han Solo and Chewbacca.

Plot summary

Around 0 ABY, the rebel smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca were fleeing two Imperial Star Destroyers in their vessel, the Millennium Falcon, which was carrying supplies for Princess Leia. The pursuing TIE Fighters fire on it, starting a fire in the cockpit. Solo realizes they will need to take the ship down.

The sensors pick up a deserted moon, and the Falcon crashes near a city, but not before shooting down the two TIEs giving chase. Once in a repair bay, they take stock; one of the droid brains fried and they realized they need to find repair parts, quickly.

They start going through the facility, and discover mothballed MTTs and B1 battle droids and a T-series tactical droid left over from the Clone Wars.

Solo comments on how they hit the jackpot. They carry some of the droids back to the Falcon, but an Imperial shuttle had arrived.

Stormtroopers land and confirm that the Millennium Falcon was the vessel they were chasing. Chewbacca fires on them, leading them off.

He leads them to Solo, who was back with the droids. The battle droids activate, mistaking the Imperial troops for Republic clone troopers, and begin firing.

The survivors start to flee, and the droids keep firing. An MTT blows up the shuttle, while Solo and Chewbacca climb back aboard the Falcon.

They punch it back away and slip over the moon's far ecliptic to finish their escape to the Rebel base.
