his age

how old is Saesee Tiin? All the jedi masters that went to arrest Palps were in there 50s besides Agen and i think Saesees the eldest so how old his he?

  • No one knows, which is why there is no birth year for him. Plus, the other Jedi were not all in their fifties. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 17:45, 23 Oct 2005 (UTC)

yes Kit Fisto 51, Mace Windu 53 and i said Agen wasnt

  • Well, no one actually knows when Fisto was born. It only says "c. 70 BBY", which means he could still be younger than that. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 17:57, 23 Oct 2005 (UTC)

then why is it in Kits info if its not really his age! I feel bad for Saesee Tiin no one talks aobut him!

  • I don't know why the "c. 70 BBY" is in there. But that's for Fisto's talk page. And that was an unneccisary comment. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 20:18, 23 Oct 2005 (UTC)
    • Tiin became a Council member by 44 BBY or sooner, right? And Mace Windu, at 28, was the second-youngest Jedi to ever join the Council (surpassed by only Anakin Skywalker, at 23), right? Soooo we can therefore conclude that Saesee Tiin must have been 29 or older when he joined the Council, and therefore his birthyear must be at least 73 BBY. Probably sooner. --Crazy Jedi Girl 06:55, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Saber style

What saber style does Saesee Tiin use???

I'm thinking he uses form V, Djem So, his behavior when entering the droid cruiser in the clone wars cartoon shows he's pretty aggressive when cutting down the droids. General Secura

  • Just because he was "aggressive" doesn't mean he used Form V. You need actual proof. Admiral J. Nebulax 21:41, 6 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • Hey, he just said "I'm thinking", it's not like he tried to go and put it in the article or something. No need to be rude. --Crazy Jedi Girl 15:12, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
  • Lol...your kidding right? It's common knowledge that he's a practioner and one of the two Masters of Shii-Cho within the Order. --The truth hurts... 23:47, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Ur all stupid! it's obvious that saesee practiced Ataru! Unsigned comment by 58.106.143.235 (talk • contribs).

Tiin's master as a Force Ghost

I don't know where this is from, but I find it odd. I thought that before Qui-Gon, no Jedi have ever returned as ghosts. - TopAce 12:28, 18 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • I know for sure Ulic Qel-Droma did, and he's in some of the earliest Star Wars stories in existence. --MarcK [talk] 12:45, 18 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • Well, there have probably been a countless number of Force ghosts before Qui-Gon, but they all had to learn a process. Admiral J. Nebulax 13:05, 18 Dec 2005 (UTC)
      • Where is this from? His Master's page says Tinn never succeeded. Source please. 128.2.247.58 22:44, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Lightsaber colors

He had three different lightsabers? i dont think they were all green! if u know what all 3 colors are tell!

  • The first was purple (as seen in Jedi Council: Acts of War), and the other two were green (see Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith). However, I'm not sure if he did actually have three; he may just have modified the hilt of his second sabre, which is why it looks slightly different in RotS. I think the idea that he has three comes from thelightsaber.com, which isn't an official site, so it's not neccessarily true - Kwenn 22:21, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

He Actually had 4 lightsabers, one purple, two green, and one blue Unsigned comment by 71.219.174.238 (talk • contribs).

Taking the bull by the, well...

Is there some kind of continuity fix yet for Saesee's disappearing/reappearing horn?Dangerdan97 04:57, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

  • Ikotchi can regrow their horns, like many horned creatures. QuentinGeorge 05:34, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
    • Hmm, I also heard there was another theory on this. Admiral J. Nebulax 21:12, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
      • The growth thing was mentioned by Pablo Hidalgo in Insider. -LtNOWIS 20:41, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
        • Then why is there no mention of the regrow-horn ability in the Iktotchi article? DarthMRN 18:09, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Seeing the future.....

If Saesee's species can see into the future and have all telpathic powers, then why couldnt he sense his death or everyones slese death coming when he was on the gunship heading to the Chancellors office. Also why couldnt he sense Sidious being a Sith Lord? - The Pooper PS. This was a question so dont give me a mean response.

  • First off, don't delete posts from Talk pages. Also, yes, he has telepathic powers, but they're not that strong. Yoda can see into the future, but he's also unaware Palpatine is a Sith, or that the Jedi will be destroyed. Another factor is that Palpatine is masking his Force presence, and, as Yoda says, "the dark side shrouds everything. Impossible to see, the future is." - Kwenn 17:46, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
  • And then you have to factor in the fact that the Iktotchi's ability to sense the future is dependent on their proximity to Iktotch. -- SFH 17:48, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Sorry about deleting that post. I just thought you might want it gone considering the fact is shows all you fighting about nopthing and looking like [Redacted by administration]. God im done at this site

Pictures

I know this article has a decent selection of pictures with it, however I propose that we put a picture of Tinn during the clone wars since it is in animated form. As well the picture that I'm thinking of (Tiin With Troopers) just looks sweet and is one of my favorite parts of the clone wars. Just a thought -- The Ravager 18:09, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

  • I agree. This article has no action shots. If you want, i'll have one in a week.--DarkShroud--Talk|Email 21:43, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
  • I have plenty of pics from that Chapter. I was just going to ask if you'd like to use either of these...

Main Picture

I am of the opinion, and wouldn't be very surprised to find I'm not alone in this view, that the main picture of Saesee Tiin should be reverted to the previous picture of his appearance from AOTC. This is a much-loved depiction and one most commonly used throughout Star Wars media, despite the appearance of the new actor's portryal from ROTS. Nearly all artistic renderings of Master Tiin have been based off this AOTC.

  • Yeah, this new image is awful. .... 00:55, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
  • No to my understanding, it is the latest known image in the movies. Yoda and Obi-Wan, even through alot of people recognize them as their prequal-selves, still have OT images, Same with Fisto not having his famous smiling pic, their last appearence is what is put up.Purpilia 00:59, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
  • But the makeup IS so much better on the TPM pic... Cutch 17:15, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
  • And CG Yoda IS much better then the puppet, but that doesnt matter, this IS what he looks like in his last canon apperance. Purpilia 23:26, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
  • We don't care about latest appearances anymore, there was consensus, and now we go with what's best for the article. .... 23:27, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
    • Yep, i've reverted it, please do not change main article pictures without a decent reason and especially not to such an ugly one. Jedi Dude 23:29, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Flying.

He should have flown his starfighter into Palpatines stomach and then jumped out as it blew up. or have Plo Koon do it, god knows he cant fly. Look what hapened to him. - Matt Roloff.

Dude Holy fucking shit stop being an asshole. You ruin this site. - Some one really pissed off.

Wol Cabasshite master

would having a Wol Cabasshite for a master not severly decrease Tiin's abilities in certain areas, say, lightsaber fighting AdmirableAckbar 15:23, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

How did his master fit in the council chairs lol, his species is wacko MaceWindu190 (talk) 05:32, March 30, 2019 (UTC)

Form V? Again?

I added a [source?] template to the sentence in his Talents section that says he is a master of Form V. To whoever added this sentence: provide a source. I remember it was once or twice added to the article already, just to be removed some time later. - TopAce (Talk) 17:15, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Death

I am curious why Saesee didn't go to Cato Neimoidia instead of Plo Koon. He seems more like the kind to fly instead of Plo. Still, I am curious why. - User:Yodakenobi

it's cuz he was chosen by Mace to go arrest palpatine, u ! Unsigned comment by 58.106.143.235 (talk • contribs).

yes he was chosen to go fight darth sidious but the battle on cato nemonodia had already started so therefore he would not have been there when anakin reported to mace that palpatine was the second sith --Sonicyoda 01:17, March 13, 2012 (UTC)

Redundancy

In the first sentence, it says "An Iktotchi from Iktotch, the moon of Iktotchon. I know that this sentence is correct, but it just seems so repetitive, could someone reword that so it isn't, because i'm not sure how.Unsigned comment by 24.81.14.82 (talk • contribs).

Appearances problem

There are WAY too few appearances for Saesee Tiin. I would edit it, but I don't know all of his appearances. Can something be done about this????!!!! 21:56, December 20, 2010 (UTC)

High Jedi General

It is listed on this page that Tiin is a High Jedi General. It is not cited, and he is not listed as a High Jedi General on the High Jedi General page. I have not found a single person who is a High Jedi General besides Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Mace Windu, and even though he is a Jedi High Council member, I have also not been able to find anyone who is on the council and is a High Jedi General (besides Windu, Yoda, and Kenobi). Whoever listed him as a High Jedi General or has proof that he is one, please respond.

ObiKenobiUPC 02:02, November 8, 2011 (UTC)ObiKenobiUPC

Due to permission from Ifindyourlackoffaithdisturbing, I have removed Tiin being a High Jedi General from this page, and instead classified him as a Jedi General.

Ep. II actors?

While the main actor for Episode II was Jesse Jensen, I've seen claims from Khan Bonfils, the original actor from Episode I, that he also took on the character for Episode II. I haven't heard many details on this (there isn't much information on Bonfils), but I assume he took care of the pickup shots for the Geonosis arena, similar to Alan Ruscoe's brief return to Plo Koon in the UK. It seems they didn't bother to fly in the previous actors from Australia when the previous cast was available in the UK. -SlashMan (talk) 22:27, May 2, 2013 (UTC)

Convo before confronting Palpatine

This page says that when Mace and the others were heading off to arrest Palpatine, Kit Fisto said he would feel better if Obi-Wan, Yoda or Plo Koon were there. But no other page says this, and people tell me he only said Obi-Wan and Yoda, not Plo. ??????????

MaceWindu190 (talk) 05:35, March 30, 2019 (UTC)

Date of birth

It's said that his date of birth was before 84 BBY, but where does this information come from ? There's no proof as far as I know, so it should be removed. --Vos661 (talk) 13:45, December 24, 2019 (UTC)

Why does he have jedi are evil tag?

It makes no cense Unsigned comment by The French Ruby (talk • contribs).

Created starfighter corps missing

In The Clone Wars Incredible Vehicles, it says that Tiin formed a Jedi starfighter corps, but I don't see this in the article. The book also says that Tiin supervised the development of the Delta-7B, and that isn't in here, either...or at least not directly stated. Is there a reason for this, or may I add it?
