In 10 BBY,[3] a Cynogan-speaking member of this species known as Saucer Head served as dealer in the Sabaac game where Han Solo won the Millennium Falcon from Landonis Balthazar Calrissian within The Lodge on the planet Vandor. By 9 ABY,[4] another member of this species worked as a bounty hunter within the Bounty Hunters' Guild, present at the cantina on the planet Nevarro where the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin claimed a bounty from Guild agent Greef Karga,[5] who also chastised this Huttese-speaking individual for failing as assignment.[2]

This species first appeared in the 2018 film, Solo: A Star Wars Story,[1] designed by concept artist Jake Lunt Davies.[6] Though this species' design bears a noticeable resemblance to another saucer hat-wearing species, the Kyuzo, Davies confirmed there was no intentional connection.'[7]
