Wadda was a male humanoid who worked as a henchman in a large slaving ring led by Zlarb around 2 BBY.[1] A massive individual from a little-known species—very few of Wadda's kind ever left their homeworld—Wadda towered over most other beings at over 2.2 meters tall,[2] and helped serve as the riot gun-wielding muscle for the group. In 2 BBY, Wadda went with Zlarb and several others on a run to the planet Lur, where they attempted to strong arm a pair of unsuspecting pilots, Han Solo and Chewbacca, into carrying a number of Lurrian captives. Morally opposed to slavery, Solo and Chewbacca fought back, killing Zlarb and several others. Although a confrontation with the Wookiee Chewbacca left Wadda battered and bruised, he survived for Solo and Chewbacca to leave him at the mercy of Lurrians they had attempted to sell into slavery.[1]
Behind the scenes
Wadda first appeared in Han Solo's Revenge, a novel written by Brian Daley and released in 1979.[1] He was pictured by Mike Vilardi in 1993's Han Solo and the Corporate Sector Sourcebook.[3]
