Stray Kids also known as SKZ, is a South Korean boy group debuted in 2018 under JYP Entertainment, formed through the survival show of the same name. It consists of 8 members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, HAN, Felix, Seungmin and I.N, with former member Woojin having left the group in 2019.
Stray Kids' music tackles the problem of self identity. They successfully conveyed a self-identity journey, from the raw and gritty energy of youths running towards an uncertain future, to a newfound (sometimes mischievous) confidence freely enjoying the present. Since debut, they convey this journey by pouring raps and vocals over a wide range of genres rooted in EDM, rock, and hip-hop, performing assertive choreographies, and using witty wordplays; all of these elements combining into the "Stray Kids" genre.
