It's been a long time coming, we surely didn't plan so much about this article in review. What can we say about the cruise specials of the Titan Academy series?

It all started as a simple idea when Debbie suggested the idea of an episode proposal. JianHao himself accepted it as one of the possible ideas and was confirmed around the time of cooking episode's behind-the-scenes.

Afterwards, on early November 2023, the script was completed. On mid-November 2023, the ship's layout was revealed, as the crew prepares filming in a real-life cruise, the Genting Dream of Resorts World Cruises!

While some people were anxiously waiting for the episode to arrive, an unexpected 99.5th episode appears, serving as a mini-prelude to the specials (in addition to learning more about the new Class N4-T1 batch).

Upon the episodes release, the receptions to those episodes were mixed. While some fans praised for the team's initiatives to take the cast further into other settings, others criticised the team for not having The Organisation's deep involvements into the twin specials.

There were theories about the CEO being the identity of the mysterious voice, whereas in reality it was simply Mr Moneybags wanting his billionaire's ring back.

All-in-all, there were some developments into the relationships of the students while in the cruise ship. Denise continues dating Vincent with JianHao's somewhat of an encouragement, and Madeline attempts to confess with JianHao as well. Ben and Debbie remain on friendly terms once more, and Teverly and Diana remains committed for their relationships despite all odds.

Another thing to point out is the way that the number 100 was handled - as an anniversary. We presume that the mergers took the oldest founding year of the other schools, hence it was possible for them to commemorate this way. Otherwise, it would be at odds with School Life: Then vs Now's timeline, where it is said that it took place in 1994. In short, the original founding year was 1994, but is subsequently changed after the various academy mergers.

Now, the real question is: Was the cruise ship actually a trap? Will we ever know? Stay tuned!
