- Did you know that in the horror movie Halloween (1978), Michael Myers is wearing a mask based on Captain Kirk from Star Trek? (It's true! The prop department painted the mask and modified the eye holes and hair; they decided the modified mask looked much creepier than their original clown mask design!)
- Did you know that E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Poltergeist were based on the same original script? (It's true! Poltergeist's original script featured invading aliens with a killer touch, which Steven Spielberg reworked for a more family-friendly movie. Poltergeist was then modified to have a more supernatural feel than a sci-fi one.)
- Did you know that R2-D2 and C-3PO make cameo appearances in Raiders of the Lost Ark? (It's true! As a joke, the prop department created a series of hieroglyphics which depict the two Star Wars droids.)
