Reprints
This wiki always links to the original uploads of songs, if available. Many producers prohibit the reprinting of their works elsewhere, and Vocaloid Lyrics Wiki will remove any links that violate the producers' terms unless the original cannot be accessed. Links to album-only songs should not be added to pages, with the exception of audio distribution sites like Bandcamp or autogenerated uploads on YouTube.
Copyrights
The vocal synthesizer community is largely fan-made, and the spread of new songs is greatly facilitated by sharing lyrics and links to the song through sites like these and other platforms. However, copyrights to lyrics, images, and translations are still held by their respective owners. Therefore, if you, as a creator, want your content to be removed from this site for whatever reason, please leave a comment on the page or a message to an admin and the offending content will be removed as swiftly as possible.

The work of others
It is a very bad idea to take the work of another producer and redistribute it without permission or even claiming that the files belong to you. This applies to videos, MP3s, MMD models, VSQs, USTs, VSQxs and so on. Doing this can cause serious problems and will probably upset the producer. So, before uploading anything that does not belong to you, it is wise to ask for permission to upload the work. If you already have uploaded work from another producer without permission, it would be appreciated if you took down the video or download link.
The low-down on illegal vocal synthesizer software
This wiki cannot and will not support illegal versions of any vocal synthesizer software. If you cannot afford commercial software, it is advised to use free software such as UTAU or Synthesizer V Studio Basic.
