The MortarWings are known for their pelts, individuality, and love of nature. They tend to keep to themselves and avoid involvement in other tribes' activities rather than actively seeking to join them. However, they do not adhere to pacifist ideology, given the significant amount of conflict within their own tribe.

MortarWings are considered one of the most unique tribes, with fur that can vary widely but typically tends toward natural colors. Their eyes, horns, and fur patterns are highly diverse. The only consistent feature among them is their large, long-legged build and feathers on their webbed wings.

Although the tribe is governed by a monarch, this leadership position is not tied to dynasties but instead earned through acts of service and loyalty. The monarch oversees a union of clans in the region, which have a long history of conflict among themselves. These clans are led by Jarls loyal to the throne, each responsible for overseeing their respective territories. The current ruler is Queen Fair-Well.
