The TempestWing tribe is renowned for its formidable military prowess and its close affinity with stormy weather and electricity. Warfare and military affairs constitute a significant aspect of TempestWing culture and influence many of their traditions, such as land disputes settled through duels and the annual Week of Remembrance tournament.

Members of this tribe have dark-colored scales, with a distinctive row of bright, smaller scales separating their dorsal scales from their underbelly (known as transitional scales). Their large wings feature vibrant stripes at the tips of the wing membranes, and they are built long and sleek for optimal aerodynamics. Within this tribe, there exists a variant known as "Sparks," who are characterized by an excess of electricity and possess feathered wings instead of draconic ones.

The TempestWing government and its military are deeply intertwined due to their perpetual state of readiness for battle. While other members of TempestWing royalty wield minimal authority within the government, the king and queen hold equal power to the High Advisors. Their current ruler is Queen Mercury.
