Technology & Combat Characteristics
This version of the Engage Gundam is a "what if" retrofit plan to enhance it with the idea of installing Psycommu weapons, had the Engage Gundam been constructed and operated. Equipped with the Remora Funnels that were researched for use by the Engage Zero, the performance of the funnel itself is not much different from that of Engage Zero, with 5 on each shoulder and 3 on the back of the waist for a total of 13 funnels. The funnels on both shoulders are designed to shift automatically as not to interfere with the movement of the arms. The waist has also undergone some minor modifications. In order to attach the funnels to the waist, the front and rear armor have been enlarged, and the shape allows funnels to be attached to the waist armor. A high-output thruster is attached to the back of the leg, and the capacity of the tank on the knee is increased, and improvements have been made assuming high maneuverability combat.

- The Engage Gundam features a core block system that allows the cockpit and main engines to eject in the form of a fighter plane, preserving the pilot's life and vital combat data.
History
As the RX-78GP00 Gundam "Blossom" was selected as the winner of the trials for Gundam Development Project, the RX-78GPZ01 Engage Gundam was never constructed and it, and its variants like the Engage Gundam Funnel Equipment, only existed on paper.
