- "She traded for colorful shells with a traveling witch from the Blue Coral Divers Clan and gathered berries bright as rubies from the Red Hills."
- ―Falta, recounting her encounter with a Blue Coral Divers Clan witch to the young girl Bug
The Blue Coral Divers Clan was a clan of witches from the planet Dathomir.[2] Like all Dathomirian witch clans, the clan was led by a Mother.[1] They collected colorful shells and shared their name with blue coral, a species of coral native to Dathomir. The witch of no coven Falta once traded with a traveling member of the clan for shells, which she used to create her daughter Yenna.[2] Sometime between 20 BBY and 19 BBY,[3] Falta had traveled to the planetoid Sídi, where she recounted her encounter with the witch to the young girl known as "Bug."[2]
Behind the scenes
In the current canon continuity, the Blue Coral Divers Clan was mentioned in "Bug," a short story written by E. Anne Convery and published in the 2020 anthology book, The Clone Wars: Stories of Light and Dark.[2] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the clan was mentioned in Backlash, the fourth installment of the Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi book series published in 2010.[4]

Notes and references

- ↑ 2.0 2.1 2.2 2.3 2.4 2.5 "Bug" — The Clone Wars: Stories of Light and Dark
