The Canyon Dune Turn was a large turn that was apart of the Boonta Eve Classic podrace course located on the planet Tatooine.[1] Tusken Raiders had been chased away from The Pinnacle, which was a sacred place for them. That is why they regulary shot at podracer during competitions to avenge their ancerstors.[2] During the Boonta Eve Classic during 32 BBY race, Tusken Raiders camped out on the Canyon Dune Turn to take pot shots at podracers with their slugthrowers. While initially unsuccessful, one Tusken shot down the podracer of Teemto Pagalies during the second lap.[1]
