Cave-molds were organisms that were farmed by the residents of Pau City, the capital of the Outer Rim Territories planet Utapau. Cave-molds were grown along with ocean-kelps in hydroponic greenhouses on the Produce Level, one of the lowest of Pau City's eleven levels.[1]
Behind the scenes
Cave-molds were introduced to the Star Wars canon in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations in a section written by Kerrie Dougherty,[1] a reprint of the 2005 Star Wars Legends book of the same name that originally introduced cave-molds.[2]
