The Coruscant police speeder was the police issued airspeeder utilized by the Coruscant Security Force for law enforcement operations on the planet Coruscant.
History
The Coruscant police speeder was utilized by police officers and police droids of the Coruscant Security Force to assist in patrolling the planet Coruscant during the Clone Wars. It was operated by one pilot and could carry three passengers. The back compartment contained bars for prisoner transport. The side of the vehicle would list the jurisdiction as well as the CSF emergency contact number of 9-1-1.
One notable incident was a high speed chase involving Padmé Amidala, Chata Hyoki, and Robonino.
Behind the scenes
The police cruiser made their first visual appearance in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series episode Pursuit of Peace. The cruisers in the episode are shown to belong to Police Sector 417.
