Echo Station/Legends

Echo Stations were a series of small scouting outposts on the icy planet Hoth and were used by the Alliance to Restore the Republic to keep an eye out for native dangers such as the Wampa and for Imperial activity. They supplemented the defensive regime of the Rebel Alliance's main base on Hoth, Echo Base.^[1] Echo Stations were also established around the planet itself to monitor meteor activity and to detect any potential Imperial vessels.^[2]
