Jaig Eyes, short for jai'galaara'la sur'haii'se (Mando'a for "shriek-hawk eyes"^[1]), were a combat honor. They adorned the helmet of the Clone Captain Rex,^[2] who received his Jaig Eyes from his instructors,^[3] special ops clone trooper commander Blackout, and Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus, who wore them on his eye mask after he lost his sight in his battle against Maul on Malachor.^[4]
