Kelp[4] grew on the ocean floors[3] of Mon Cala.[2] Kelp-like vegetation covered the cave walls of Planet X.[5] During the Battle of Mon Cala, the Mon Calamari citizens were taken to the kelp forest below the planet's capital to await processing.[3]
