Lowick,[5] also spelled Lowik, was a jungle planet[3] located in the Outer Rim Territories[1] that was the swampy homeworld of the Pa'lowick singer Sy Snootles.[5] During the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance operated a secret outpost on Lowik.[3]
Behind the scenes
Lowick was first mentioned in Alien Encounters, a supplement for West End Games' Star Wars Legends Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game which was released in 1998.[6] The world was confirmed to be canon in the 2015 reference book Ultimate Star Wars.[7]
The comic series Star Wars: Target Vader and Star Wars: Bounty Hunters introduced a similar planet named "Lowik," which the 2024 reference book Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy later referred to as Lowick, conflating the two locations.
